As part of our continued growth across Europe, we are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Communications Surveillance, Market Abuse Surveillance, and Conduct Risk. This individual will play a critical role in shaping our market strategy, engaging with customers, influencing product direction, and driving commercial growth.
The SME will serve as a recognised industry authority, acting as the bridge between customers, prospects, regulators, internal product teams, and the wider market. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive banking surveillance experience to support business development activities, contribute to product strategy, represent Shield at industry events, and help position the company as a thought leader across Europe.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong commercial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders across financial services institutions.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Sales teams to support strategic business development initiatives.
- Engage directly with prospective and existing customers to understand business challenges and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in customer meetings, workshops, discovery sessions, and executive briefings.
- Provide subject matter expertise throughout the sales cycle, helping articulate business value and regulatory alignment.
