Success in this position requires ownership, responsiveness, commercial judgment, and the ability to operate effectively across teams, regions, and time zones. This role can be based in either the UK, Spain, The Netherlands or Germany.

What you'll do:

  • Specialist Sales Support: Serve as the specialist sales resource for the Aechelon simulation portfolio across priority international markets. Partner with regional sales leaders, account owners, and business development teams to identify, qualify, and advance simulation opportunities. Support account strategy, opportunity planning, and customer engagement efforts related to the Aechelon portfolio. Help drive pipeline development for simulation opportunities and maintain visibility into key pursuits, risks, and next steps.
  • Customer and Partner Engagement: Participate in customer meetings, capability discussions, demonstrations, and follow-up actions to help progress opportunities. Articulate the value of Aechelon’s simulation offerings in a clear, mission-relevant, and customer-oriented way. Support relationship development with international defense, government, and partner stakeholders. Help connect customer requirements to product capabilities in coordination with sales, product, and technical teams.
  • Pursuit and Deal Support: Support the development of customer-facing materials, presentations, proposals, and competitive positioning for simulation opportunities. Coordinate with internal teams to support demos, strategic pursuits, bids, and executive engagements. Contribute market, customer, and competitive insight to improve positioning and increase win probability. Help drive disciplined follow-up and execution across active opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with GTM, International, Product, Marketing, and Operations to support simulation growth initiatives. Provide field feedback to improve messaging, enablement, campaign focus, and product positioning. Contribute to business reporting, opportunity updates, and operating cadence as needed. Help ensure internal alignment on priorities, customer engagement plans, and support needs.

What success looks like:

  • International simulation opportunities are identified early, well supported, and advanced with clear coordination and momentum.
  • Regional sales teams have strong specialist support for Aechelon-related customer discussions, positioning, and pursuits.
  • Customer interactions clearly connect simulation capabilities to training, rehearsal, readiness, and mission outcomes.
  • Cross-functional teams are aligned in support of international simulation growth priorities.

Required qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to support or drive complex technology sales in international, enterprise, government, or defense environments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to position technical solutions in terms of customer value and mission relevance.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through, including the ability to manage multiple active opportunities and stakeholder needs.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in simulation, training, mission systems, enterprise software, autonomy, aerospace, or defense technology.
  • Familiarity with international sales motions, government or defense procurement, and partner-driven growth models.
  • Experience working in a specialist seller or overlay role in support of regional sales teams.
  • Background supporting multi-region customers, channel partners, or strategic international pursuits.
  • Fluency in an additional language relevant to priority markets is a plus.

Role profile: The ideal candidate is a collaborative, commercially minded specialist seller who is comfortable operating in a matrixed and fast-moving environment. This person should be able to build credibility with customers, support regional sales teams, and help move complex opportunities forward with consistency and professionalism.
