We are seeking a skilled Industrial Participation / Cooperation to lead the planning, negotiation, implementation, and management of industrial participation & cooperation programs related to international defense sales. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of government IP/IC requirements, international business practices, and defense contracting. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and fostering strong relationships with global government and industrial stakeholders.
What you\'ll do:- Lead the development and execution of IP/IC strategies in support of international defense contracts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for IP/IC obligations with international government authorities, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate IP/IC agreements with foreign governments and ensure alignment with overall program and business objectives.
- Manage the implementation and lifecycle of IP/IC projects, including documentation, reporting, and milestone tracking.
- Identify and evaluate potential in-country partners and projects to fulfill IP/IC requirements.
- Coordinate with legal, contracts, finance, supply chain, and compliance teams to ensure effective and compliant IP/IC execution.
- Monitor changes in IP/IC regulations and policy in key markets and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Support proposal development by providing IP/IC input and compliance assessments.
- Prepare and present briefings to senior leadership and external stakeholders on IP/IC performance and strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Political Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in industrial participation, defense contracting, or international business development.
- Proven experience negotiating and managing offset obligations in the defense or aerospace sectors.
- Familiarity with international regulations and policies regarding IP/IC (e.g., ITAR, DFARS, national IP/IC policies).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus.
- Experience working with defense ministries or export control authorities.
- Knowledge of IP/IC accounting and reporting systems.
- Network of industry and government contacts in key export markets.
