Job Summary

We are seeking an Application Developer to support the design, development, and enhancement of a suite of Deal Management solutions that enable commercial decision-making across the organization.

These solutions include: Pricing Optimization Partner & Vendor Incentives Sales Cockpit Deal Tracking & Deal Lifecycle Management Compliance & Governance Workflows Commercial Reporting and Analytics

This role will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, data scientists, and IT teams to build scalable applications, automate business processes, and deliver user-centric solutions that improve pricing effectiveness, profitability, and sales productivity.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical development skills with an interest in solving business problems through technology and data.

This role requires to be based in London, UK.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain business applications supporting commercial operations and deal management processes.
  • Build user interfaces, workflow applications, dashboards, and data-driven solutions.
  • Develop reusable and scalable components that improve application performance and maintainability.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
  • Business Process Automation
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Automate manual workflows related to pricing approvals, incentive tracking, deal governance, and compliance reviews.
  • Support the development of tools that improve seller productivity and decision-making.
  • Data Integration & Analytics
  • Integrate applications with enterprise data sources and APIs.
  • Support reporting, KPIs, and operational dashboards.
  • Partner with data teams to surface actionable insights and recommendations within applications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Pricing Strategy, Sales, Finance, Vendor Management, and IT stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and solution design sessions.

  • Experience working with workflow management or approval-based systems.
  • Knowledge of pricing optimization, vendor incentive programs, rebates, or deal management processes.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern software engineering practices.
  • Other Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3–6 years of application development experience.
  • Experience building enterprise applications, workflow solutions, or business process automation tools.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as:

The estimated annual pay range for this position is £60,000 - £70,000.

The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
