Job Summary

SHI has an exciting opportunity to join its growing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team.

Reporting to the FP&A Director, the Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A will support SHI\’s reporting & planning function with coverage of all group SHI business units and segments. The FP&A department is primarily responsible for maintaining financial models, forecasts, and annual plans for all aspects of SHI financials including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow as well as Business Partnering with Senior stakeholders and Sales leaders. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for insights, analysis and recommendations. This includes producing standard monthly reporting packs and variance analysis. The ideal candidate will be experienced, data driven, analytical and ambitious.

Role Description

  • Analysis of results, key drivers and performance against KPI\’s; preparing variance commentary on revenue and gross profit, analysing customers, products, and sales segments to identify key drivers, highlight risks, and spot trends.
  • Preparation of month end reporting packs for senior leadership, sales leaders, and functional heads to support monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Prepare, maintain and publish P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow metrics for all business units and consolidations.
  • Ensure the integrity and quality control of financial data, implementing checks and balances as necessary; Business partnering within Finance to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Support development of business plans for current investments, KPIs, and all new projects.
  • Support Finance Transformation initiatives including new processes, software, and systems enhancements, automation of reports and process improvement
  • Ad hoc analysis as needed to answer key business questions.

Skill Level Requirements

  • Effective communication, time management, presentation abilities.

  • Ability to work independently to develop and implement new processes, reports, models.
  • Industry/Global experience in IT, Tech, and reseller market a plus.

Other Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor\’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 5-8 years\’ financial analysis, modelling, processes (Budget, P&L, strategic planning) experience in a large corporate organisation.
  • Advanced certification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, MBA, or CPA preferred

Business working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. However due to the nature of the role, with its international reach and shared projects, working outside of these hours to service business needs will occur occasionally, and employees are expected to be readily available in these eventualities.
