The IT Asset Management (ITAM) Solutions Architect’s role is to work with SHI’s customers to design ITAM solutions to assist them in understanding and managing their software and hardware environment. The position will be customer-facing to lead, influence, and guide SHI customers in their ITAM journey with the aim of maximizing the adoption of ITAM services by SHI customers. Additionally, the ITAM Solutions Architect will interface with the Product Management team in the development of ITAM services and technology for delivery to our customers and periodically support internal projects to assist in building the brand awareness of the ITAM team and SHI.
Role Description:
- Participate alongside ITAM Solutions Consultants in pre-sales activities to advise customers and inform them of ITAM by SHI’s capabilities.
- Identify additional upsell opportunities within existing ITAM customers.
- Lead and deliver ITAM Consulting Services, including leading Audit Defense projects.
- Design, define, and complete large-scale and complex ITAM Services to cost, timescale, and quality following applicable standards and procedures.
- Communicate accurate and relevant conclusions to customers across the entire life cycle of a SAM/ITAM project.
- Provide consultation on key ITAM governance issues, ITAM operations, and tool selection and implementation where appropriate.
- Lead the development of SOWs, working closely with various teams to ensure alignment with client needs and business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth within the professional services team by identifying new opportunities and optimizing service offerings.
- Collaborate with SHI stakeholder partner teams to create synergistic service solutions.
- Engage with SHI sales teams to ensure a unified approach to service delivery and client engagement.
- Contribute to practice development by identifying areas for growth, leading innovation initiatives, and creating and maintaining practice standards to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Service Delivery and provide thought leadership and guidance to clients and SHI teams on best practices, trends, and innovations in technology.
- Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.
- Oversee and facilitate the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, and provide relevant technology/architecture recommendations.
- Stay current with new technologies and frameworks, drive the retirement of legacy solutions/technologies, and recommend adopting new partners or solution components.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $180,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary and bonus/commissions, are $120,000 - $200,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
