As a fast growing global organisation, Invertek Drives is dedicated to developing cutting edge technologies for integration into future generations of our world – our renowned Optidrive product range. Based at our Welshpool Head Office, Invertek Drives are seeking to appoint a range of design engineers and technicians to work as part of a highly motivated and progressive Innovation team to help develop the next generation range of products.

Ideal candidates should have a background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with experience and knowledge of AC variable speed drives. Working as members of the Innovation team, roles for individuals with the following skills are available:

  • Design, simulation and test of electronic and/or power electronics circuits;
  • Working with other team members to optimise mechanical designs and ensure compliance with relevant standards;
  • Embedded software development for drives applications;
  • Ethernet-based communications software and hardware development;
  • PC software and Smartphone App development;
  • Development of product Test and Verification Systems;
  • Test and verification of products;
  • Good team working skills are essential.
