Job Summary
The Data Analyst collaborates with SHI management to support data‑driven requests and initiatives, conducting data collection, analysis, and performance tracking across various segments. This role involves generating and merging reports from multiple databases, writing PowerBI reports, and performing ad‑hoc analysis to identify opportunities and develop scenarios. The Data Analyst will assist with business cases, deliver monthly and quarterly reporting on financial and operational KPIs, and work closely with stakeholders to enhance data for analysis and performance management.
Role Description
- Collaborate with SHI management to support numerous data requests and project initiatives from other SHI departments.
- Collect and analyze activity data, including forecasts across various segments and milestones.
- Track and detail activity and performance against goals, forecasts, and plans.
- Map accounts by locating the appropriate salesperson for an assigned list of leads.
- Generate reports from multiple databases, merging data into spreadsheets or databases.
- Create PowerBI reports for reporting and performance management.
- Analyze, interpret, format, and summarize data for management review.
- Work with stakeholders to obtain, validate, and enhance data for analysis and performance tracking.
- Perform ad‑hoc analysis that identifies opportunities, creates assumptions, and develops scenarios.
- Assist with business cases defined with clear scope, intended outcomes, quantifiable benefits, and expenses.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting focused on the entire portfolio of initiatives, including:
- Financial performance: measure expense and savings on a profit and loss statement (P&L), cash flow impact, working capital impact, or productivity benefit.
- Operational KPIs: track hours saved, utilization, number of instances, etc., depending on the project.
- Commentary: work with initiative owners to identify drivers for the month, quarter, and future outcomes.

Other Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
2‑4 years of experience in a data and analysis‑related field.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Access for reporting and database management.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Working knowledge of finance concepts, principles, and practices preferred.
