We need someone who can run point with principals, hold their own with senior delivery partners, and bring a programmer's eye for what makes a serious event land.

  • Lead delivery of senior events across SHGH, end-to-end, from concept and programme design through to run-of-show and follow-up.
  • Westminster Conference, 23 June 2026. Manage venue, AV, programme, briefings, run-of-show and chair experience, working with Innovation Arts on session design.
  • Dinner and roundtable programme. Design, invitation strategy, briefings and follow-ups across political dinners, member dinners, founder and investor convenings.
  • Longer term potential to contribute to building our events capability, helping us develop a stronger and more strategic events offer over the engagement.

ABOUT YOU

  • Five or more years of senior events experience.
  • Background running events at organisations including (but not limited to) think tanks, policy institutions, businesses, start-ups, trade associations, VCs, start-up communities, and accelerators is particularly relevant.
  • Comfortable running events for senior audiences, including senior business leaders, parliamentarians, founders, investors and regulators.
  • Track record of creative design-led events.
  • Strong project management discipline combined with an instinct for what makes content land in a room.
  • Proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, able to step into a moving programme and bring it to a higher standard.
  • Discreet and politically astute.
  • Available to start in May 2026.

PRACTICALITIES

  • 3 to 4 days per week, flexibly distributed (with intensity around major event moments).
  • London-based.

  • Some evening event delivery required.
  • The role is contracted and paid via SHGH.
