We are looking for a bright and passionate digital campaigns consultant with strong experience working on digital campaigns, to join our digital team at Stonehaven. As someone with 3+ years of experience, you will have both technical know-how and a good base level of digital campaigning knowledge to help our clients deliver digital campaigns that unlock change. We welcome applications from candidates who have agency or in-house experience.

You’ll have an exciting role working on a highly varied array of industries, sectors and projects – working with and learning the detail from our policy, economic, data, research, and corporate affairs experts. The role holder will be co-ordinating, developing digital strategy, and delivering digital campaigns for our clients, utilising their knowledge across platforms and channels – including, though not limited to, website content and experience, social media, email marketing, and paid online promotion.

You will have great knowledge of what makes audiences tick and how to develop content that really drives engagement. The role holder will also play a key role in driving Group marketing activity to publicise and amplify the group’s activities online. While the digital campaigns you’ll be working on will focus on building supporter bases and momentum, building and managing reputation, and/or policy or behavioural change – we are also open to candidates from more commercial digital promotion and sales backgrounds that are looking to apply their technical skills on new challenges. However, given our work you must be someone that is interested in and able to understand how digital skills can be applied to public affairs and policy challenges.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing digital campaign strategies and delivery plans, and implementing digital communication campaigns for clients as part of wider integrated campaigning efforts.
  • Building strong client relationships, and providing day-to-day support on client accounts, leading on digital communications in account teams.
  • Implementing and shaping paid digital promotion campaigns using platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Google Ads, YouTube, and display advertising.
  • Working on website design, development and implementation projects.
  • Consulting with clients to develop great, creative digital campaign ideas which deliver against client strategy.
  • Providing insight for clients and the business on the latest developments in the digital world.
  • Driving a programmatic approach marketing for the Group – managing up, down and across.
  • Contributing to organic growth and new business efforts.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong experience in delivering multi-channel digital communication campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
  • Experience creating and leading on the creation of content for a variety of channels including web pieces (blogs/landing pages), social media posts, graphics and videos.
  • Experience working on campaigns with high political relevance or organisational significance.
  • Experience of managing CMS platforms (WordPress or equivalent).
  • Basic proficiency in using creative software like Figma, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Rush, InDesign etc) or equivalent design software.
  • Social media video production and editing skills are not essential but would be highly favourable.

Salary and Benefits

  • Starting salaries range from £36,000 to £45,000, subject to experience.
  • 25 days annual holiday with additional office closure days.
