SheyDance.com is a professional dance education platform that connects qualified instructors with students seeking structured, high-quality dance instruction. We partner with independent instructors to deliver engaging classes while providing administrative and booking support through our platform.
SheyDance.com is seeking experienced Dance Instructors to provide group dance instruction as independent contractors. This position does not include a fixed salary or guaranteed hourly compensation. Instructors are compensated through a revenue-sharing model based on class enrollment and duration.
Responsibilities- Design and deliver professional dance instruction in assigned or proposed dance styles
- Conduct one-hour and extended-length group classes through the SheyDance.com platform
- Maintain a professional, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Ensure timely communication with students regarding class content and expectations
- Comply with SheyDance.com scheduling, booking, and administrative procedures
This role is classified as an independent contractor position and does not include a regular salary or hourly wage. SheyDance.com covers booking and platform fees for one-hour classes only. However, you are free to post on the platform as many times as you wish, independently. For classes exceeding one hour in duration, all associated booking fees are the responsibility of the instructor.
Revenue distribution per class:
- Instructor: 80% of the total class proceeds
- SheyDance.com: 20% platform and administrative fee
Compensation is contingent upon student enrollment and class revenue.
Scheduling & Engagement ModelInstructors maintain control over their availability and class offerings. Engagements may include single-session or recurring classes. This role is well-suited for professionals seeking flexible, performance-based income.
Qualifications- Demonstrated experience teaching dance in a professional or instructional setting
- Strong organisational, communication, and instructional skills
