Teacher of English in Wigan

We are looking to appoint adedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join our successful EnglishDepartment. English is at the heart of the curriculum at Shevington HighSchool, and we are looking for someone who shares our ambition to provide anexcellent experience for every student and secure strong outcomes.

The successful candidate willhave strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality Englishteaching across KS3 and KS4. Our curriculum is well established andcomprehensively resourced, with detailed schemes of work, lesson materials andsupporting resources in place. We are looking for a teacher who will makeeffective use of these resources while bringing their own subject expertise andenthusiasm to the classroom and working collaboratively with colleagues.
