Sports Coaches are responsible, through the Active Schools Manager and the Sports Development Officer, for the organisation and delivery of sport, physical activity and dance sessions for people of all ages and at venues throughout Shetland. Sports Coaches are required to ensure that a high quality, customer focused service is delivered to all participants. Lone working may on occasion be required in this post.

The grade of this post is E. Rate of pay shown in the advert is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £1.5523 per hour. Temporary Part Time post for 35.0 Hours per Week, 52.18 weeks per year. Temporary contract for a period of approximately 8 weeks.

Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to a formal offer of employment being made. A relocation package does not apply to this post. We will pay interview expenses from within Shetland. We are happy to talk flexible working.
