Does your employer expect you to give back hours each day for travel? Half an hour each way might not seem like a lot, but over a 12-month period, that’s 260 hours of pay that you’re missing out on! Sherwoods pays all our field engineers for door-to-door travel, so you’ll be paid for all the hours you put in.
You’ll be a time-served or qualified carpenter who has previously worked in a field-based multi-site maintenance role, and you’ll have experience with a range of building-related tasks, including general carpentry, repairs to doors, tiling, plastering, and roofing. You’ll be passionate about delivering a first-class service, whatever the challenges. Some sectors we work in involve close contact with vulnerable or young people, so you’ll be subject to an enhanced DBS check. You will also need a full UK driving license.
