Career progression - the real kind
At Sherwoods, progression isn't rushed and it isn't based on empty promises. Several members of our senior leadership team started with us as apprentices. They learned the trade properly, proved themselves over time, and progressed when they were ready, not because a title was dangled in front of them. That's still how we do things today. We won't promise you a supervisor role in three months. What we will offer is:
- A stable, growing business
- Clear opportunities as the company expands
- Support, training, and trust as you develop
- A genuine long-term career path
If you're good at what you do, committed, and want to grow, we'll back you.
Why this role is different
This is a role for electricians who want to settle in and build something, not bounce between short-term jobs.

- Trusted to manage your day once on site
- No micromanagement, no unnecessary pressure
- A business that hires ahead of demand, not after people burn out
What you'll be doing
