The Trade Sales Specialist is responsible for driving and increasing Trade business sales across the East of England including Acton, Aylesbury, Bedford, Cambridge, Chiswick, Cricklewood, Luton, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Peterborough, St Neots, Stanmore, Stevenage, Watford and Yeading. This is an exciting role for an experienced sales person with experience working within the Trade or Retail sector. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Trade customers, B&Q / TradePoint teams, and key decision-makers.
- Identify and grow new Trade sales opportunities in collaboration with internal teams.
- Conduct product, application, and sales training sessions for B&Q / TradePoint personnel.
- Deliver outstanding service, including job-site demonstrations, paint trials, tinting/mixing paint, and occasional deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records in SFDC and achieve weekly customer call targets.
- Work closely with the Head of Trade on new business leads and service opportunities.
The skills and experience you will ideally have:
- 3+ years of relevant professional sales experience and/or calling on contractors within retail or consumer goods industry.
- Experience selling products to strategic accounts in home improvement, construction, or property maintenance industry.
- Strong Organizational & Communication skills.
- Conducting presentations to groups of employees.
- P&L / Budget Management.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule. This could include evenings and weekends on occasion.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
