The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

We are looking for a Technical Services Representative to join our team in London. In this key role, you will assist and support in the development of new and existing business with customers by providing a high level of technical expertise to maintain and improve the Company’s technical reputation and high standards of support by Technical Services. Ideally located within South London as the customer visits will be around London and East Anglia.

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Providing support to specified projects across the business, working to agreed timescales and maintaining a high level of technical expertise.
  • Supporting the business units in the development of existing and new business.
  • Providing technical support to customers within realistic timescales.
  • Investigating and resolving all types of customer complaints.
  • Carrying out trials of products for customers.
  • Providing technically correct and accurate reports, literature and specifications.
  • Maintaining and updating management systems.
  • Travelling to customer sites as and when required in order to resolve issues or queries locally.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to a technically high standard.

The skills and experience you ideally will have:

  • Technical background and knowledge of products desirable.
  • Paint Laboratory / Paint application experience an advantage.
  • Nace/ICorr accreditation beneficial.
  • Customer service excellence.
  • Knowledge of O&G/HVI segments and competitor products would be beneficial.
  • Analytical background and experience.
  • Ability and willingness to travel the majority of the time for customer visits, including some overnight stays.
