We are looking for Technical Services Representative to join our team in and around London.
In this key role you will assist and support in the development of new and existing business with customers by the provision of a high level of technical expertise to maintain and improve the Company’s technical reputation and high standards of support by Technical Services.
Ideally located within South London as the customer visits will be around London and East Anglia.
In this role you will be accountable for…
- Provide support to specified projects across the business, working to agreed timescales and maintaining a high level of technical expertise
- Support the business units in the development of existing and new business
- Provide technical support to customers within realistic timescales
- Investigate and resolve all types of customer complaints
- Carry out trials of products for customers
- Provide technically correct and accurate reports, literature and specifications
- Maintain and update management systems
- Travel to customer sites as and when required in order to resolve issues or queries locally
- Ensure all work is carried out to a technically high standard
The skills and experience you will ideally have…
- Technical background and knowledge of products desirable
- Paint Laboratory / Paint application experience an advantage
- Knowledge of O&G / HVI segments and competitor products would be beneficial
- Analytical background and experience
- Ability and willingness to travel the majority of the time for customer visits, including some overnight stays
