Job Description
The Senior HR Advisor is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. This role acts as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent. The position is based from our Knottingley site with some travel to our Sheffield site (and occasional travel to Bolton).
Responsibilities
- Administrative HR Support: prepare and manage employment-related documentation in coordination with HRBPs and ER Managers, update employee records and support onboarding and offboarding activities
- Support to HRBPs and ER Managers: assist with performance reviews, training sessions, engagement activities. Provide logistical and admin support to Employee Relations Managers and help prepare documentation.
- Recruitment & Training Administration: coordinate and attend interviews in support with HRPs, track progress, support training and liaise with providers
- HR Operations, KPIs & Compliance: timely and accurate processing, monitor compliance, prepare and maintain dashboards and KPI\’s, coordinate with connecting functions
- Time & Attendance and Payroll Coordination: monitor and evaluate, act as a local point of contact, collaborate with centralized teams.
- Performance & Talent Cycle Coordination: sending timely reminders, track completion, prepare documentation and assist with compiling succession planning
- Coordination & Communication: act as a liaison between sites and ensure consistent communication and process alignment, support HR events, training and employee communications and respond to employee inquiries regarding policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent administrative experience in an HR environment or equivalent through experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role, preferably in a multi-site or regional setting.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, documentation standards, and data confidentiality.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time for the role
