The Sales Support Co‑Ordinator will be responsible for coordinating and supporting sales office operations. This will include a number of tasks linked to relationship management, opportunity management and value opportunities. The role will take a lead in customer contact management, ensuring new customers and ship‑to addresses are set up in accordance with the business approval matrix and work with sales leadership on maintaining customer price files within the relevant local ERP, including mass price file updates, discounts and promotions.
Responsibilities
- Create additional ship‑to addresses for existing customers in ERP
- Set‑up new customers in ERP (upon sales request and approval matrix)
- Regularly review and maintain the customer base (active/inactive maintenance)
- Ensure relationships with other departments, oversee customer satisfaction and coordinate activities with sales personnel
- Regularly review possible leads/opportunities in Salesforce, combine weekly reports for progression and business visibility
- Identify customer ordering trends such as frequency and pattern of orders; initiate relevant communication with sales/customer and keep communication channels open when ordering trends differ
- Track NPD and work internally with sales to aid promotions of additional products that could work with a customer’s portfolio
- Maintain regular maintenance of CRM (Salesforce) and review of sales logs/opportunities; raise internally to Sales any discrepancies
- Maintain customer pricing in ERP (including discounts and promotions) following sales manager requests and correct approvals
- Deliver on special projects linked to Sales/Service effectiveness as required
- Assist with developing operating policies and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining proper controls
Qualifications
- Greek and English language skills – essential requirement
- 1‑2 years of progressive sales support/customer service experience
- High school graduate or equivalent education and experience
- Deep knowledge of the relevant Business Unit and Customer Base your team supports
- Managing Customer Relationship Management Tools, such as Salesforce.com
- Implementing programs, policies and procedures
- Training and motivating employees
- Interpreting and applying department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules and regulations
- Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
- Ability to work across multifunctional and multicultural teams within organizational structure
- Communicating with co‑workers to provide and receive direction
- PC skills; ERP, Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other applications as required
