As Quality Manager at our Bolton site, you will be responsible for all audits, controls, and any corrective actions, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent communication. This role is ideal for someone with Quality Assurance and Quality Control experience, ideally from within a similar environment.

  • QA and QC experience within a similar environment, ideally within a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Receive/respond to any external system assessment and audits
  • Central co-ordinator for all CP forms submitted - providing output reports and monthly/quarterly analysis summaries
  • Audit control - involved in planning and carrying out annual Audit programme - including questionnaire development, audit documentation preparation, carrying out audits, maintaining audit records, distribution of audit reports
  • Corrective Actions - control of issue/chase for all system/JCP corrective action. Also provide analysis/summaries to QRT
  • Concessionary Pass - evaluate data presented for standard RM’s, intermediates, or FP’s which fall outside in-house test specification limits; make recommendations for approval under concession
  • Secretary of QRT, also provide quarterly data summaries/analysis
  • Maintain accurate written records for core activities (e.g. customer complaints, audit) any projects undertaken, and the ISO standards held within the dept
  • Data - data records/computer input - utilising available computer software (e.g. Excel spreadsheet) as an aid to structuring data records/analysis, summaries, or reports to lead to improvements in product or process
  • As a trained internal assessor (to level D32/D33) to assist in the implementation of the ‘Preparation of Surface Coatings’ NVQ in Production Dept
