Job Description
- Tints the materials according to the given recipe. Reports mistakes if they occur. Retains samples and keeps batch data for future reference.
- Keeps workplace and surrounding areas tidy.
- Keeps all machinery (facility equipment) clean and in working condition. Reports faulty equipment to Blending Supervisor / Facility Manager.
- Maintains safe operating procedures through complete knowledge of safety rules and lab procedures.
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with those in their line of work.
- Follows all waste management procedures.
- Reworks / adjusts returned materials from customers, under instruction from Blender II or III. Operates and maintains the Corob / Dromont tinting machine.
- Movement of raw materials between the warehouse and colour laboratory. May be involved in deliveries to the customer (Facility dependent)
- Other tasks as given by Blender II, Blender III, Blending Supervisor or Facility Manager.
