b Overview /b p In this role you will develop innovative products for Fire Protection and Insulation, planning and executing technical projects of varying complexity. You will operate with a high degree of independence while supporting broader business objectives, acting as a technical resource across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse data, drive practical solutions, and contribute to product certification and testing initiatives. The opportunity combines hands-on chemistry with project leadership to advance coatings solutions that protect and enhance spaces. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li rewards and benefits /li li health and well-being support /li li learning and development opportunities /li li inclusive team culture /li li voice in community engagement /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Plan, design and execute projects independently, leading small to moderately challenging initiatives /li li Analyse technical data and recommend solutions; resolve issues using research and prior experience /li li Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Marketing, Technical Service and Certification teams to achieve project objectives /li li Support product certification activities, external testing programmes and customer technical support /li li Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders /li li Mentor and coach colleagues; build networks to drive project success and influence resources /li li Maintain safety and compliance with company HSE requirements /li li Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and technical innovation across the portfolio /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li BSc in Chemistry or equivalent STEM qualification /li li MSc, MChem or PhD desirable but not essential /li li Experience in coatings, chemicals, materials science or product development /li li Demonstrated experience managing technical projects independently /li li Ability to analyse technical data and make sound recommendations /li li Experience with customers, suppliers or external testing organisations desirable /li li High level of coatings knowledge preferred /li li Passive Fire Protection or Intumescent Coatings experience highly desirable /li /ul ul li clear communication to both technical and non-technical audiences /li li strong collaboration across functions /li li mentoring and coaching /li li formulation and problem-solving capability /li li experimental design and data interpretation /li li technical investigations and solution recommendation /li /ul
