Production Operative - Manufacturing in Deeside

The operator is responsible for manufacturing or filling products on a specific machine or process in order to meet production requirements.

Responsibilities

• All employees are responsible for their own health and safety, as well as those who may be affected by their acts or omissions. They are also required to cooperate in health and safety matters according to the instructions of their employer.

• Preventive protective clothing and equipment must be worn at all times in designated areas.

• Ensure that production operations are carried out according to effective standards and efficiently so that the production schedule is respected - promote a self-management approach.

• Ensure that the workload is executed effectively in collaboration with the supervisor and planning, including updating scheduling tables as required.

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), if applicable.

• The operator must ensure that the quality of the product is accurate and that the correct quality controls are carried out during production/filling.

• Promote working relationships with other relevant departments, e.g. engineering, filling/packaging, quality, etc.

• For the operator's specific machine or process, all aspects of general maintenance, including the 5S's,must be maintained during his shift.

• Cross-coverage and substitution of other operators in case of absence and annual leave, as needed, as well as substitution in other areas, as needed.

• Actively participate in two-way communication and in the development and introduction of improvement initiatives.

• Appropriate training is provided based on the requirements of the position.

• Performs other duties as required
