Description
- Analyzes finished goods forecasts, production and inventory data to determine raw material requirements.
- Prepares purchase orders based on calculated or predicted material requirements and follows up with vendors when revisions are needed.
- Ensures raw materials are available on time to meet production requirements and customer orders.
- Ensures inventory levels are optimized to meet both demand and inventory site targets.
- Facilitates the cycle count process to ensure inventory record accuracy of raw materials.
- Coordinates meetings and interactions with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and other parties to ensure effective relationships, quality services, and efficient operations.
- Ensures compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
