Sherrier CE Primary School is a caring, inclusive school where children are placed at the heart of everything we do. We have a vacancy for a full‑time class teacher from August 2026. This is a fixed‑term post to 12 February 2027 to cover maternity leave.

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic, creative and highly motivated
  • Knowledgeable about the curriculum in KS2
  • Able to provide a stimulating environment for learning and quality teaching
  • Capable of fostering positive relationships with children of all ages
  • Excellent communication skills, with good interpersonal and organisational abilities and a sense of humour
  • Willing to undertake relevant training
  • Able to make learning fun and support our caring ethos

We are looking for a teacher with some experience and we are recruiting on Main Pay Scale – 3–6.
