Role responsibilities:
- Preparing, organising and setting up materials, components and equipment for lessons.
- Supporting pupils during practical activities where appropriate.
- Ensuring all machinery, tools and equipment are well maintained and safe to use.
- Managing maintenance schedules and arranging servicing or repairs.
- Upholding rigorous Health & Safety standards across the workshop.
- Monitoring stock, ordering materials and managing supplier relationships.
- Keeping the DT spaces tidy, organised and conducive to effective learning.
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff to support lesson delivery and department development.
