Are you an experienced Production Technician with a background in injection moulding? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business looking for a proactive, hands-on technician to support production, maintain performance, and help drive continuous improvement.
You’ll play a key part in keeping production running safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This is a varied role where you’ll be involved in machine performance, tooling changes, process optimisation, basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting operators on shift.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Monitoring production processes and performance
- Responding to machine or tooling issues quickly and effectively
- Carrying out routine changeovers and production-led maintenance
- Supporting continuous improvement and problem-solving activities
- Completing production paperwork and visual management updates
- Supporting operators and covering wider production duties when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in an injection moulding environment
- Good understanding of moulding processes
- A team player with strong communication skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to follow standard processes
- Technical qualification or similar manufacturing training would be an advantage
Shift Pattern
This role will involve a 4-week rotating shift pattern covering days, nights, and weekends, with overtime available depending on business needs.
Salary: £17.60 per hour
