Hull

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am to 3.30pm, Friday 7am to 1pm. 38 hours per week.

We are recruiting a skilled Workshop Engineer to support ongoing product and site development for a forward-thinking company based in Hull. This is a varied, hands-on role within a business that is continuously developing new products and improving its production processes. Due to regular innovation and development, the Workshop Engineer role presents frequent technical challenges that require experience, practical skill, and creative problem-solving. You will play a key part in resolving issues, contributing ideas, and supporting the final assembly of finished products, where precision and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with product and site development projects
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and IT-related issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of production processes
  • Support final assembly of completed products, ensuring high quality standards
  • Carry out general site support tasks and occasional errands as required

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced in hands-on technical or mechanical roles
  • Comfortable working across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and IT challenges
  • A proactive problem-solver with a structured and methodical approach
  • Adaptable and enjoys variety in day-to-day work
  • Ideally holds a 5T driving licence (or willing to obtain)
  • A positive team player who enjoys contributing to a friendly and collaborative working environment
