Our client is a well-established manufacturer supplying specialist products to customers across 30+ countries worldwide. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Production Supervisor to join their manufacturing team on a permanent basis, leading a shift team to deliver quality, safety and output targets.

What's on Offer

  • £33,176 per annum basic salary
  • 25% shift uplift when working nights
  • Quarterly KPI Bonus – up to £500 per quarter, based on performance

The Role

As Production Team Leader, you’ll take ownership of your shift, ensuring the team hits production, quality and safety targets while creating a positive, motivated working environment. You’ll be a hands-on leader – visible on the floor, coaching your team, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching and developing a production team to meet output, quality and safety targets
  • Ensuring compliance with GMP, quality systems and site SOPs
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety across the department
  • Upholding hygiene, cleanliness and contamination-prevention standards in line with feed/food safety procedures
  • Monitoring and reporting on departmental performance, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Ensuring consistency of standards and communication across shifts
  • Training staff and ensuring training records are completed and signed off in a timely manner
  • Driving continuous improvement projects within the department and across the wider site

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Leader, Shift Supervisor or Line Leader within a manufacturing, food production, FMCG or technical environment
  • A minimum of 1 year's supervisory experience
  • A self-starting, commercially aware individual with strong leadership and people skills
  • A hands-on, results-driven approach with a genuine interest in coaching and developing others
  • Comfortable working within a GMP/quality-driven environment
  • Willingness to work a rotating 3-shift pattern (mornings, afternoons, nights)

This role would suit candidates currently working as a Production Supervisor, Shift Leader, Team Leader, Line Leader or Production Chargehand within food manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or fast-moving production environments.

Location

Based near Humberside Airport, North Lincolnshire – commutable from Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Brigg, Barton-upon-Humber, Kingston upon Hull and surrounding areas.
