About the Role
We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Thermal Insulation Engineers to join our dynamic team working on high-profile projects across London. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and inspection of thermal insulation systems in industrial and commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain various insulation materials (mineral wool, phenolic foam, cellular glass, etc.)
- Work on ducting, piping, plant, and structural steelwork
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Apply appropriate cladding (e.g., aluminum, steel, PIB)
- Conduct quality checks to ensure insulation meets industry standards
- Adhere to all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in thermal insulation (industrial or commercial)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Valid CSCS card (Blue/Gold preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Thermal Insulation (or equivalent)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work across various sites in Greater London
Desirable
- IPAF, PASMA, or confined space certification
- Experience working in construction, energy, or utilities sectors
