Our client are seeking an experienced Site Painter to prepare and paint hoarding around an active demolition site. The role involves surface preparation and application of exterior paint to ensure hoarding is finished to a high standard, improving both the appearance and protection of the site perimeter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare hoarding surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, filling and priming where required.
  • Apply exterior-grade paint to timber or plywood hoarding panels.
  • Ensure consistent colour and finish across all site hoarding.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working area in accordance with site safety procedures.
  • Work in coordination with the site manager and demolition team to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Protect surrounding surfaces and public areas from paint spills or overspray.
  • Carry out minor touch-ups and repairs where required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a painter/decorator, ideally on construction or demolition sites.
  • Experience painting external hoarding or fencing preferred.
  • Ability to work safely on an active construction/demolition site.
  • CSCS card preferred (or required depending on site rules).
  • Own tools and PPE desirable.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to deliver a clean, professional finish.

Health & Safety

  • Must follow site health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Adhere to demolition site safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Working Hours

Typically 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (may vary depending on site requirements).
