A well-respected building services contractor, known for delivering specialist mechanical and electrical packages across major London developments, is looking for an experienced Smoke Ventilation Engineer.
With a strong pipeline of projects across residential, commercial, and public-sector schemes, they now require a dedicated engineer to install and maintain mechanical smoke ventilation systems, car park extract systems, and fire safety dampers across sites throughout London (excluding West).
The Role:- Installation, maintenance, and fault-finding of:
- Smoke control systems (natural & mechanical)
- Car park extract ventilation systems
- Fire and smoke dampers
- AOV (automatic opening vents)
- 3–6 years’ experience working with smoke ventilation or mechanical extract systems
- Solid understanding of BS 9999 / BS 7346 and other relevant fire safety standards
- Comfortable with both installation and reactive maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
- Valid ECS card (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- IPAF, PASMA, or SSSTS is a bonus but not essential
- Salary: £40,000 – £47,000 depending on experience
- Company van + fuel card + tools
- Paid travel and overtime opportunities
