We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a strong background in HVAC systems to join a growing team. Working on a mix of commercial, industrial, and public sector projects, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of mechanical packages from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. This is a hands-on role with full ownership of project timelines, cost management, technical delivery, and subcontractor coordination. You’ll be the key point of contact for clients, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring our high standards are met every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of HVAC and Mechanical Projects (typically £250k – £2m)
- Oversee subcontractors and in-house teams to deliver works safely, on time, and within budget
- Coordinate with design teams and suppliers for equipment selection and procurement
- Conduct site surveys and produce RAMS in line with project needs
- Manage commissioning and final handover documentation
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering HVAC-focused Mechanical Projects
- SMSTS or SSSTS and valid CSCS card
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including AHUs, VRFs, chilled water, and ventilation
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and working in live environments
- Excellent organisational and client-facing communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings and specifications
