Our client is an established & growing firm based in the heart of the City of London, offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Mortgage & Protection Administrator. This role requires an enthusiastic individual who has an excellent eye for detail, as you will be the main point of contact for clients whilst their mortgage application is being processed. You will be responsible for liaising with our mortgage advisers, lenders and solicitors ensuring the client is kept fully informed at all times.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an administrative role in financial services, specifically in Mortgage and Protection, and have the ability to pro-actively support and assist within a team environment. Advies offer full support with CII qualifications.
Duties will include:
- Working with the existing members of the Mortgage team including advisers to request documentation from clients.
- Document checking prior to application.
- Completing online mortgage applications.
- Reviewing, updating tracking and monitoring of cases, using provider sites and our internal CRM System (Intelliflo).
- Provide Illustrations along with other documentation to clients and other stakeholders as required.
- Dealing with incoming correspondence from clients, lenders, solicitors.
- Contacting lenders/providers to facilitate case progression.
- Working with the adviser to ensure that regulated transactions are compliant, i.e. suitability letters and file notes are completed within the designated timeframe.
- Working with and adhering to company and FCA policies and procedures.

- Excellent computer skills; experience with Outlook, Word and Excel
- Highly organised
The successful candidate will be motivated, efficient, hardworking, a team player and able to follow instruction. Mortgage administration experience is preferred.

- Monday to Thursdays office based - option to work from home on a Friday
