We are looking for an experienced MEP Commercial Manager to join our team in Hertfordshire. This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing the commercial performance of MEP projects from tender stage through to completion.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will split your time between office-based tendering/commercial management and site-based project support.
Key Responsibilities- Leading commercial input on new MEP tenders
- Issuing enquiries and obtaining competitive supply chain quotations
- Preparing cost plans and pricing submissions
- Procuring subcontract packages and negotiating terms
- Managing budgets, cash flow forecasting and cost control
- Handling valuations, variations and final accounts
- Monitoring live project performance and reporting financially
- Background in Quantity Surveying or Estimating
- Proven experience within MEP / Building Services
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness
- Experience managing projects from pre-construction through delivery
- Confident reporting to senior management
