My client is a well-established and growing Mechanical Building Services contractor delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, industrial and specialist sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to take ownership of multiple projects and play a key role in the successful delivery of mechanical installations from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Managing multiple mechanical projects simultaneously.
- Procuring labour packages and managing labour resources.
- Sourcing and managing subcontractor packages.
- Preparing valuations and applications for payment.
- Identifying and implementing value engineering opportunities.
- Pricing and managing project variations.
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed programmes.
- Managing project costs and ensuring profitability targets are achieved.
- Liaising with clients, consultants and site teams throughout project delivery.
- Supporting the pre-construction team with estimating and tendering activities when required.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the Building Services or M&E sector.
- Strong commercial awareness and project financial management skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of mechanical building services installations.
- Ability to manage subcontractors, labour and client relationships effectively.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
