We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established mechanical and fabrication contractor for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will be based across commercial projects and/or workshop fabrication in London.

Role OverviewAs a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of metal ductwork and related components, working to technical drawings and specifications. The role may involve workshop-based fabrication and/or site installation depending on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Fabrication of sheet metal ductwork and HVAC components
- Working with galvanised steel, aluminium and other materials
- Reading and interpreting technical and fabrication drawings
- Operating fabrication machinery (press brake, guillotine, rollers, etc.)
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship and accuracy
- Adhering to health & safety standards at all times
- Working independently or as part of a team to meet production targets
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker / Ductwork Fabricator
- Background in HVAC, ductwork or mechanical fabrication
- Ability to work from detailed drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good understanding of workshop and/or site-based processes
- Valid CSCS card (where site-based)
- Desirable: NVQ / City & Guilds in Sheet Metal Work or related trade
- Experience in commercial or industrial projects
- Welding or specialist fabrication experience
£40,000 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Overtime opportunities (where applicable)
