We are currently recruiting for an experienced Skid Steer Operator to join a fly-tip clearance project. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a skid steer loader to assist with the safe removal and loading of illegally dumped waste and general site clearance activities.
Responsibilities
- Operate a skid steer loader safely and efficiently.
- Load waste, rubble, soil, and debris into skips and haulage vehicles.
- Assist with site clearance and ground reinstatement works.
- Carry out daily machine inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Follow all health and safety procedures on site.
- Work alongside site supervisors and waste management teams.
Requirements
- Valid CPCS A23 Skid Steer Loader or NPORS N032 Skid Steer Loader ticket.
- Previous experience operating skid steer loaders.
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
Desirable
- CSCS Card.
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
- Previous experience in waste management, remediation, or site clearance projects.
