We are seeking an experienced BMS Installer to join a major commercial development project in Central London near St Pauls. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile site delivering modern smart building and energy management systems within a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of BMS control systems across a large commercial project
  • Containment installation including tray, basket, conduit, and trunking
  • Running, glanding, terminating, and testing BMS and control cabling
  • Installing field devices including sensors, actuators, valves, and control panels
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
  • Assisting BMS commissioning engineers during system testing and commissioning phases
  • Ensuring all installations comply with current electrical and health & safety regulations
  • Coordinating with electrical, HVAC, and mechanical teams on site
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site housekeeping

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a BMS Installer or Controls Installer on commercial projects
  • Strong understanding of BMS systems and control wiring
  • Experience working with systems such as Trend, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, or Tridium advantageous
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • ECS/CSCS card required
  • IPAF beneficial
  • SSSTS beneficial but not essential
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
