We are seeking experienced Gold Cards Electricians to carry out remedial electrical works across occupied and unoccupied domestic properties in Battersea and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who is confident fault-finding, completing remedial repairs, and working professionally within people’s homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out remedial electrical works in domestic properties
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently
- Completing tasks following current wiring regulations (BS7671)
- Working from job sheets / schedules and reporting progress daily
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard with attention to detail
- Communicating professionally with tenants/homeowners and site management
- Completing minor installations and replacements (as required), including:
- Sockets, switches, lighting
- Consumer unit repairs (where applicable)
- Testing and minor electrical upgrades
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (BS7671)
- Experience working within domestic properties
- Strong fault-finding and remedial repair skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- A professional, customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence (preferred, depending on role)
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- 2391 / 2394 / 2395 (Inspection & Testing)
- Experience working on social housing or property maintenance contracts
- Previous work in occupied homes (tenanted properties)
