We are seeking a proactive and experienced Regional Business Manager to join our Regional Leadership Team. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing business operations across multiple school sites in East of England
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and advise on Finance, HR, Administration, and Referrals System Management.
• Line manage HR and Senior Admin teams across all school sites.
• Drive strategic planning and ensure optimal use of resources.
• Prepare and present site budgets with detailed costings.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external audit requirements.
• Act as Clerk to Governors and support governance functions.
• Attend and support Ofsted, H&S, and other regulatory audits.
• Lead or support the development of business cases for site improvements.
Requirements
• GCSEs (Grades A–C) or equivalent.
• Excellent IT and keyboard skills.
• Level 6 qualification in School Business Management (or willingness to undertake).
• Experience in the business or education sector.
• Familiarity with systems such as iTrent, Charms, Engage, or Job Train.
Skills and Experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience supporting senior professionals in a complex environment.
• Ability to manage budgets and ensure value for money.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
Additional Information
• Full-time role with flexibility to select a primary base within the region.
