Job Overview
Administrative Assistant – Sheridan School (part of Aspris Children’s Services).
The role involves supporting the school’s day‑to‑day administrative tasks within a team that provides education and therapy for young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs, including Autism.
The position is a 6‑hour, Monday to Friday shift from 9:00am to 3:30pm, with a 30‑minute break.
Responsibilities
- Perform general office duties and maintain accurate student records.
- Compose minutes of meetings and assist with scheduling reviews and appointments.
- Answer telephone calls, greet visitors, and manage day‑to‑day correspondence.
- Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) proficiently to support various tasks.
- Prioritise competing deadlines and work efficiently in a busy environment.
Qualifications
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
