The Company Sheridan Maine is partnering with a well-established and respected accountancy practice in Kent to recruit an Audit Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing firm, leading audit engagements and supporting the development of a high-performing team.
The Role
The Audit Manager will take ownership of audit engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery for a varied client portfolio. You will manage and mentor junior team members, liaise with clients, and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
The Audit Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading audit engagements from planning through to completion.
- Managing, mentoring, and developing audit teams through feedback, training, and guidance.
- Reviewing and approving audit work papers, reports, and recommendations.
- Maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact.
- Ensuring compliance with audit methodology, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

The successful Audit Manager will possess:
