The Role
As Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a mixed tax workload, working closely with clients and senior colleagues to deliver high-quality compliance and advisory services. Responsibilities as the Tax Senior will include:
- Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns.
- Managing a portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
- Supporting tax planning and advisory projects.
- Liaising directly with clients and HMRC.
- Assisting with mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members.
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and best practice.
To be considered for this Tax Senior role, you will have/be:
- Previous experience working in a UK accountancy practice in a tax-focused role.
- Studying towards or qualified in ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
- Strong technical knowledge across personal and/or corporate tax.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- The ability to manage deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.
