Sheridan Maine is working with a well-established chartered accountants practice in North West London to recruit an Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior. This is a fantastic opportunity for a practice professional with a strong interest in personal tax and accounts, looking to take ownership of their own portfolio within a supportive and growing firm.
The Role:
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 300 self-assessment tax returns
- Handle a varied client base including sole traders, landlords, and tax-only clients
- Prepare and submit personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact
- Support with company accounts, corporation tax, and VAT returns (desirable)
About You:
- Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice role
- Strong knowledge of self-assessment tax and personal tax compliance
- An interest in developing further within tax and accounts
- Experience with sole traders and rental income clients
- Exposure to company accounts, corporation tax, or VAT would be advantageous
- AAT qualified or studying towards qualification
