An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join an established and well-respected accountancy firm based in High Wycombe. The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering accurate bookkeeping services to a variety of clients across different industries, supporting the wider accounting team in maintaining high standards of client care.
Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper include:
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
- Process purchase and sales invoices, bank reconciliations, and journals.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely submissions.
- Liaise with clients to obtain relevant financial information.
- Assist with management accounts preparation where required.
- Ensure all work complies with current legislation and internal processes.
Person Specification of the successful Bookkeeper:
- Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping role, ideally within an accountancy practice.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
