This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious tax professional looking to develop their career within a supportive practice environment, working with a varied portfolio of corporate clients and gaining exposure to both compliance and advisory work. Working closely with the wider tax and accounts teams, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of corporate tax clients and play an important role in delivering a high-quality service. Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring all compliance requirements and deadlines are met. Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns for a range of companies. Providing clients with corporate tax advice and support, identifying opportunities for tax planning where appropriate. Assisting with more complex tax matters and responding to ad hoc client queries. Liaising directly with clients, building strong and trusted relationships and providing a proactive service. Working closely with the accounts team to ensure tax compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently. Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and HMRC requirements. Contributing to the continued growth and development of the firm's corporate tax offering. We are looking for a motivated tax professional with experience gained within a UK accountancy practice. Previous experience in corporate tax, at Senior or Assistant Manager level. A relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CTA, or be working towards qualification. Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax. Experience preparing and/or reviewing corporation tax computations and returns. Strong attention to detail and a commercial approach to client service.
