This practice has built a strong reputation for delivering personalised, high-quality accountancy and advisory services to a broad client base over many years. The role involves taking responsibility for a substantial portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring the consistent delivery of technical excellence and proactive advice. You will work closely with Partners while also supporting and developing the wider team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and reviewing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
- Overseeing the preparation of management accounts and associated tax work.
- Providing trusted advice to owner-managed businesses and corporate clients.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Supporting, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior staff.
- Contributing to workflow management and process improvement.
To be considered for the position, you will have/be:
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Strong background within a UK accountancy practice.
- Previous experience managing a client portfolio at a senior level.
- Confident communicator with a client-focused mindset.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
