Sheridan Maine is seeking a Treasury Accountant to join a large, well-established organisation in Hampshire. This is an interesting and varied role that offers career progression and will work with a wide range of stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the Treasury Accountant include but are not limited to:
- Support the preparation of annual and interim financial reporting, including treasury-related disclosures.
- Assist with audit coordination and ensure timely delivery of internal and external audit requirements.
- Maintain and enhance cash-flow forecasting and reporting processes, collaborating across finance teams.
- Monitor and assess treasury controls to ensure robust operational compliance.
- Help streamline and improve treasury reporting, leveraging systems and automation where appropriate.
- Covering wider treasury function activities when required.
- Support ad hoc projects and activities.
The successful Treasury Accountant will require:
- Previous experience in a treasury accounting position in a larger organisation.
- Qualified treasury accountant and/or ACT qualification desirable.
- Strong understanding of cash-flow management, risk management, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance.
- Knowledge of treasury systems.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
